    I wanted to congratulate Abby on her first tournament. She had some tough competition and did very well in spite of that.
    She finished 3RD.

    I just received a message saying that the newest Gere has arrived.
    His name is Jet and he is 7lbs 11oz19.5 long.
    From everyone, at Spokane judo we hope things continue to go well. In April of 2020, we look forward to seeing him on the mat.

  • Saturday Practice Reminder

    Just a reminder that we will have practice tomorrow at the Sheriff’s Training Center at 12:30.
    Please be on time.

  • Saturday Practice

    Starting this Saturday (4/14/2012) we will be holding practice from 12:30-2:30.
    Hopefully everyone can attend. This should give everyone an opportunity to practice for the upcoming USJF JR. Nationals.
    We will be focusing primarily oncompetition so there will be lots of randori.
    The location is:
    10319 E. Appleway Blvd. WA 99206.
    Enter the facility from the Sprague Ave. side and go up the ramp to the second floor. Map info is below:

  • Kootenay Classic Judo Tournament – Salmo, BC

    Here is the entry form for the tournament in Canada on April 28.
    This looks like it will be a nice tournament and it is pretty close to home.
    I encourage everyone who can to attend.

    Congratulations to Jaime on her 3rd place finish in the tournament yesterday.

  • Self Defense Demonstration

    I wanted to thank Allen, Rich, Anna Marie, and Oleg for their help with putting on the self defense demonstration last night at the WSU Riverpoint campus. I thought the demonstration was quite a success (at least the participants all seemed excited and enthusiastic).
