  • The 2013 Spokane Judo Christmas Party

The votes are in and the moment of truth has arrived…

The Christmas party will be December 7 at 6:30 until we throw you out at Brett and Anna Marie’s house. Key things you need to know:

    • When: December 7 at 6:30
    • What do I need to bring: whatever you think people would like to eat. We will provide some food, but everyone should bring something.
    • What will we do there: eat food, have fun, discuss judo, watch judo on TV and talk about how we could do it better, and some activities for the kids. Oh, we will also help Greg celebrate his birthday, and maybe Eddy will bring the “fiancee!”.
    • Where: directions are below.

I hope everyone can make it. This includes all those people we haven’t seen in a while!

  • Christmas Party Question

There have been several requests to move the Christmas party from Friday 12/6 to Saturday 12/7. David has gotten us the lodge at his apartment for Friday 12/6 but we are willing to have it at our house (Brett and Anna Marie’s) on 12/7 if there is enough interest.
So, to settle the question, please answer the following poll:

What is the preferred date for the judo Christmas party?

    Vote early, vote often!

  • Saturday practice

Just a reminder that practice will be at 12:00 tomorrow.  Hope to see everyone there.

  • KREM News story

I just wanted to thank everyone for coming last night. I think judo looked good.

    KREM story

  • Reminder about KREM

    We need you!
All of you! to come and represent Spokane Judo and the East Central Community Center.
    At 4:30 today, be there!

  • KREM 2 news at East Central

This Wednesday June 5, KREM news is coming to do a segment on the community center. As part of this, we would like to show them what judo is like and demonstrate why judo is the greatest sport.
I would like to have as many people at practice as possible. Even if you have been skipping practice lately, please come. The community center and the judo club need all of you to show support.

They are going to put this on the 5:00 news that night so we will have to start practice early. I would like to have people at the community center at 4:30 so we can put out mats and get ready.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or just ask tonight.

    Hope to see everyone there.

  • Have a good Memorial day weekend

Just wanted to remind everyone that there is no practice Saturday or Monday for the holiday weekend.
    See everyone on Wednesday.

  • Saturday Practice back again!

We will have Saturday practice this week.
Practice is Saturday at 12:30 at the Sheriff’s Training Center.
    Hope to see everyone there.
