  • Inland Empire Judo Classic 2012

    Here is the entry form for the tournament here in Spokane next month. I think everyone should compete as it will never get closer to home.

  • 2011 Continental Crown results

    Congratulations to all who participated in the 2011 Continental Crown. Everyone did a very nice job representing Spokane Judo.

  • Continental Crown 2011 Registration

    Everyone who is attending the 2011 Continental Crown tournament should register on-line at: Continental Crown Registration.

  • 2011 Continental Crown

    The Continental Crown tournament will be held on 11/5/2011. This is a good tournament and I encourage everyone to attend.

  • Congratulations

    Trinity took second at the Budokan tournament on 5/14/2011. She won three of her matches using pins (nothing is more satisfying than making someone lose on the mat). Also Tavares competed and won his first match by ippon. He was then forced to withdraw from the tournament due to injuries. We hope you heal soon Tavares.

  • Watch Senior Nationals Live Stream

    On 4/30/2011 starting at 6:00AM, USA judo will be streaming all the matches from one of the mats at the Senior Nationals. To watch, go here.

  • Special Congratulations

    Not only did John Yen win his weight division, he also won the grand championship for the tournament.

  • Tournament Next Weekend

    The tournament is next weekend and I wanted to make sure everyone who intends on competing has all the needed information.
    1. if you have a completed entry form and an instructor’s signature, send it in with a check to Pacific Judo Academy by this Saturday.
    2. If you don’t have the form completed or a instructor signed waiver, e-mail Bret Miche with your name, rank, age, the division you will be competing in, your club, and your USJF membership # before next Wednesday.
    3. If you email in your information, you will need to turn in the completed paper work at the time of weigh-in.
    4. Everyone will need to bring their USJF card to weigh-in.
    5. The entry form is here.
    6. If anyone has questions, email me or leave them in the comments.
    7. Don’t forget, we have practice Monday.

  • 2011 Washington State Championships

    This tournament is in Spokane, so no need to travel.
    The tournament is on 2/26/2011 at the Spokane Convention center.
    This tournament is for Seniors and juniors, so everyone should be able to compete.
