    We could not be more proud of our judoka! Not everyone brought home medals, but ALL fought well and hard. Tournaments are tough ~ so are the competitors who show up for them!

  • Battle by the Lake (no practice)

    This Saturday, 3/11, we have 8 competitors at the Battle by the Lake!
    There will be no practice this Saturday, so come out and support everyone competing.
    The tournament starts at 9:00 so come early.

    The 2023 Seattle Dojo Annual Judo Tournament & Kata Competition will be held on Saturday, May 6 at the Boys and Girls Club of Bellevue – Hidden Valley Field House.

  • Visit from Members of WSU Judo

    On Monday evening, 2/20, we will have practice even though it is Presidents day.
    In addition, we will have visitors from WSU judo.
    They are hoping to get a workout with some new people, so come one, come all, we want to give the visitors a good number of people to practice with.

  • 2023 Battle By The Lake Judo Tournament

    2023 BATTLE BY THE LAKE JUDO TOURNAMENT

    American Judo has teamed up with Lakeland Judo to provide the best tournament experience possible. American Judo Shiai’s are the perfect place for any judoka looking to gain experience in a competitive yet friendly tournament atmosphere. Our developmental tournament series offers as many matches as possible, so you can get the most out of your experience. With a modified rule set in place, everyone is sure to have a positive tournament experience.

    Format: Modified Double Elimination or Round Robin for 4 or Less; All competitors are guaranteed 2 matches or your entry fee back.

    Age Standards: Age 4 and Up

    Competitors will need to present a vaild USA Judo, USJA, USJF, ATJA or Judo Canada memberships.
